Hi,
now that I got my first test project done I'd like to get a bit more ambitious, also concerning to material. Therefore, i'd like not to mill the whole thing at once but in several layers. Is there any way to do this with gcodetools?

Can you explain more what would you like to do?
Example file with two layers is here:

Is this what you were asking?

So if you set for example z-Depth (when adding orientation points) to -6mm, now you have to set "depth step" to "2" in tool options i.e. in this greeen recatangle on tool that you added. This will make 3 passess each for 2 mm. Hope that helps
